About G.R.I.T with Grace
G.R.I.T. with Grace is MOTIVATED BY A BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW on leadership skills—encouraging GIRLS to be ROOTED in Christ to IMPACT TOMORROW with GRACE for the Kingdom of God.

Where We Stay
We will all be staying in The Rhode Dorm at Camp Wabanna which is located at 101 Likes Rd. Edgewater, MD 21037.
The Rhode Dorm was built in 2001 and sleeps up to 48 guests in 4 rooms (2 downstairs and 2 upstairs). Each room has 5 bunks (10 beds total for the girls) and 1 semi-private chaperone room with 1 bunk for 2 adults where chaperones assigned to that room will sleep to maintain our two-deep AHG policy.
Each room has an attached shower and bathroom so there is 1 shower per 12 guests. Adult chaperones will have a separate shower schedule when no girls are present in the dorm. The dorm has heat & A/C as well as a meeting room, and 2 porches in the front and back.
Travel
Girls should plan to arrive at Camp Wabanna between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 16. Girls should plan to depart at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, February 18.
When you arrive come directly to The Rec Hall for check-in.
Bring This, Not That
BRING THIS
- Bath towel and toiletries
- Bible, notebook, and pen
- Reusable water bottle
- A drawstring bag or backpack
- Bedding (pillow, sheet/blanket or sleeping bag)
- Girls are welcome to bring phones to take pictures and exchange contact information with new friends but should have them put away during workshops
NOT THAT
- Please leave tablets, laptops, and other electronics at home
What to Wear
The weekend dress code is casual except for flag ceremony.
- Class A uniform for flag ceremony
- Class B and/or AHG spirit wear for all other events is encouraged
- Modest pajamas and/or sleepwear
- Outfits should be modest with no cut-offs or mid-drift showing

Chaperones
G.R.I.T. with Grace is a unique event and a very sweet time for young ladies to gather together to grow in their relationships with the Lord. To maintain our two-deep and ratio policy we are inviting 6 more chaperones to join us at the event. Chaperones will fill several unique teaching and service roles at the event such as:
- Event & Registration Coordinator (filled)
- Health and Safety Lead (filled)
- Session Leaders/Teachers (3 needed)
- Service Project Coordinator (1 needed)
- Girl Stations for Free Time (1 needed)
- Decorations/Snacks (1 needed)
The cost for chaperones is $125 so if you are interested please indicate so on your daughter’s registration form and we will contact you to discuss it further.
Cost
The cost for each girl is $225. This includes 5 meals, accommodations, and program materials.
